All customers reserving a play session at My Playful World must agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully prior to reserving your session.

Rules of Entry:

My Playful World provides a play opportunity for all children, until their enjoyment of imaginative play / role-play ceases.

All parents/carers/guardians accept full responsibility for the supervision of their child/children whilst at My Playful World. Staff are present to ensure you and your child/children have an enjoyable experience during a play session, however, they are not responsible for the supervision and behaviour of the children.

All children entering My Playful World must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged over 18 years. It is expected that children will always be supervised by their accompanying responsible adult whilst enjoying My Playful World.

Children or adults causing wilful damage to the equipment or the fixtures or fittings at the venue, will be liable to pay for any damage caused.

Children and adults must behave in a respectful way at the venue; no swearing, abusive language, fighting, aggressive behaviour or illegal activity will be tolerated. Anyone displaying such behaviour will be asked to leave. No refund will be given.

Children and adults who are unwell, or who have been unwell, must not visit My Playful World for 48 hours after symptoms come to an end; this is to prevent the spread of infection. In these instances, the Reservations, Transfers and Refunds policy applies.

Outside food and beverage cannot be consumed on the premises unless agreed with management, for example for school trip bookings.

Food and drink are not allowed within the play areas. Food and drink can only be consumed at the tables in the café area.

Smoking is not permitted on the site, including the use of e-cigarettes.

No pets or animals are permitted except for assistance animals.

The staff at My Playful World have the right to end the play session for anyone not adhering to these rules of entry and will ask them to leave.

Recordings:

Parents / carers / guardians can take videos and photographs of their own children for personal purposes only. Unless permission has been granted by the management at My Playful World, videos and photos cannot be reproduced in any format or media other than for private viewing.

We ask that you only photograph children in your group. However, My Playful World cannot be held responsible for any images posted on social media or public websites by others.

Reservations, Transfers and Refunds Policy:

A session place should be reserved and paid for through our online booking system prior to entry. This entitles the child to play in all the play areas at the venue for the session length of 1hour and 30 minutes. Those arriving late will not be able to extend their session.

Upon reserving the session, an email confirmation will be received along with a booking reference which acts as proof of purchase.

Customers who have made online reservations are given priority entry. Entry without an online reservation cannot be guaranteed.

The first adult accompanying each child is free, though the second adult accompanying each child must pay for entry.

All sessions reserved online are non-refundable.

Transfers for reserved sessions can be requested with a minimum of 48 hours prior notice to the start time of the reserved session. The only exception to this notice period will be if the child or household member has tested positive for Covid or are self-isolating. There may be other, exceptional circumstances where the notice period for a play session date / time transfer can be waivered, but this is strictly at the manager’s discretion.

Session costs are subject to change and the booking system will always be updated to reflect this.

Session Details:

My Playful World is open from 9:30am – 3pm on Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 5pm on Saturday & 9:30am – 3pm on Sunday. We are closed on some bank holidays (dates will be excluded in the reservation calendar).

My Playful World operates set play sessions, as follows; 9:30am – 11am, 11:30am – 1pm, 1:30pm – 3pm, 3:30pm – 5pm.

Please arrive on time for your session, but no longer than 5 minutes before as we cannot permit entry before the session start time. You are welcome to wait in our foyer prior to your session start time.

Unfortunately, those arriving late will not be able to extend their session.

Between sessions staff will tidy, clean and reset the venue, ready for the next session. You must vacate the play centre as soon as the session ends to allow for this period of cleaning to be undertaken. Though you are welcome to take your time in the foyer area after the play session; putting on shoes, using the toilets etc.

My Playful World reserves the right to close all or part of the venue should there be a risk to the safety and security of visitors and staff. In these instances, your session will be transferred to another date and time, at your convenience.

Safety and security:

My Playful World is not responsible for the loss of or damage to valuables when at the play centre. Customers bringing personal belongings into My Playful World, do so at their own risk.

There is ample parking available at the play centre, but cars are parked at your own risk. My Playful World does not accept liability for any accidents, damage or loss incurred in the car park. The car park is also not part of the property leased by My Playful World.
